(ECNS) -- The recent earthquakes that hit Taiwan’s Hualien and Taitung have killed one and injured 170 people as of Tuesday, according to the earthquake response department in Taiwan.
The 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck Taitung on Saturday and the 6.9 magnitude struck Hualien on Sunday.
Water supply was disrupted in 1,404 households in Hualien. Taiwan Water Corporation decided to dispatch two water vehicles to support the quake-affected places before the water supply was resumed.
And 110 buildings were reported dangerous, 62 in Hualien and 48 in Taitung.
