(ECNS) -- Argentina and its iconic No. 10 Lionel Messi will go head-to-head with Saudi Arabia starting 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Beijing Time, at Lusail Stadium.
Messi, who has played in the World Cup four times, admitted that Qatar 2022 will be his last chance to achieve his dream at a news conference on Monday.
“I took care of myself and worked as I have done all my career, knowing that this is a special moment, as this is probably my last World Cup, my last chance to achieve this great dream that I have, that we all have,” said Messi.
“I feel very good physically, I think I’m in a great moment, both personally and physically and I don’t have any problems,” the 35-year-old added.
