(ECNS) -- A batch of commodities exported by cross-border e-commerce enterprises in Hainan Province went through customs at Hainan Free Trade Port on Wednesday.
According to Haikou Customs, a batch of garments and ornaments with a value of 560,000 yuan (about $79.3 thousand) and a weight of 3.16 tons were successfully cleared at Haikou Meilan Airport customs. These commodities will be exported to France.
This is the first time that enterprises in Hainan have declared export goods through the "9710", or cross-border e-commerce B2B mode.
This mode has considered the demand of cross-border e-commerce enterprises for exporting goods in batches and can save logistics costs. Meanwhile, it can further broaden export business channels of enterprises at the free trade port.
