(ECNS) -- In 2022, the per capita disposable income of farmers in areas that have eliminated poverty in China reached 15,111 yuan (about 2217 U.S. dollars), up 7.5 percent over the previous year, 1.2 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the per capita disposable income of farmers nationwide, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said Tuesday.
According to Liu Huanxin, head of the National Rural Revitalization Administration, the per capita net income of the population that has got rid of poverty reached 14,342 yuan last year, a year-on-year increase of 14.3 percent, and eight percentage points higher than the growth rate of per capita disposable income of farmers nationwide.
