(ECNS) -- A forest fire broke out in Daocheng County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China’s Sichuan Province on Tuesday night.
The local government responded immediately. As of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, a total of 755 people have been dispatched by the local government to extinguish the fire.
The dry weather, strong wind, and steep terrain of the fire site with an altitude of 4,020 meters made it difficult to put out the fire.
At present, the forest fire is under control and has not endangered the lives and property of local residents as well as important facilities.
