(ECNS) -- The palm print recognition system was put into operation on the Daxing International Airport Line in Beijing on Sunday, which allows passengers to take the subway train by scanning the palms of their hands.
Passengers can scan and upload their palm prints at the ticket machine to access the subway trains of the line and link it to the WeChat Payment to pay for the ticket.
This is the first subway line that supports palm print recognition in the world. The palm print recognition system is expected to be used in various fields such as office, retail, catering, and more.
This system mainly recognizes the palm print and veins of passengers. Data desensitization and data encryption technologies have been used to protect the private information of passengers.
