Over 32 million people lifted out of poverty get employed in China

(ECNS) -- Over 32 million people lifted out of poverty have got employed in China as of July 2023, an increase of 347,900 year on year, authorities said on Sunday.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China released the data at a conference promoting the employment of the population who has got rid of poverty, which was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The employment of the group has helped consolidate the results of China’s poverty alleviation practice, authorities said.
