(ECNS) -- The 100-day countdown ceremony for the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province on Monday.
It will take place from Nov. 12 to 17 at the Zhuhai International Airshow Center, according to Sun Jiefeng, chairman and general manager of Zhuhai Airshow Co., Ltd.
This year's event will have several breakthroughs, including expanded exhibition space, comprehensive displays of air, sea, land, and space technologies and enhanced international exchanges, Sun said.
The airshow will feature 13 exhibition halls with a total indoor exhibition area of 120,000 square meters, a 20 percent increase from the previous edition. The outdoor exhibition area will cover approximately 230,000 square meters.
Participants will come from 47 countries and regions, with nearly 800 exhibitors from around the world.
Leading global aviation companies such as Boeing, Airbus and Honeywell will also be present.
The exhibition will feature themed zones, including a Low-Altitude Economy Pavilion, Civil Aviation Industry Zone and Commercial Aircraft Industry Zone etc.
