HICOOL Summit attracts top-notch entrepreneurs to Beijing

(ECNS) -- The HICOOL 2024 Global Entrepreneur Summit themed on new quality productive forces and innovations will open on Aug. 23 in Beijing.

Seven major registration areas worldwide

This year marks the fifth consecutive year of the HICOOL Entrepreneur Summit. The total number of talents and projects registered for the summit reached 32,000 and 24,000 from 145 countries and regions around the world in the past five year. Sixteen unicorn enterprises and 127 specialized enterprises have emerged with investments of up to36 billion yuan ($5.04 billion) in this period.

The HICOOL Global Entrepreneurship Competition attracts 7,406 entrepreneurial projects including 4,683 overseas projects, accounting for 63 percent, and 9,700 talents from 124 countries and regions, setting a new record number of entrepreneurial projects and entrepreneurial talents at this year's Summit..

This year, the Competition will select a total of 200 prize winners, an increase of 43 percent. Among them, the number of overseas winners will increase from 100 to 140 and the number of local winners from 40 to 60 with 12 first, 36 second, 68 third, and 84 winning prizes.

Top-notch entrepreneurs on exhibition

High-quality innovation enterprises from Germany, Australia, France, and other countries will participate in this year's summit. Representatives of international talent organizations, Google and international investment institutions, incubation institutions, entrepreneurial teams, and Nobel Prize winners and other guests from home and abroad will also gather at the summit.

The 2024 summit will set up 5+1 sub-events. Local governments from Beijing will be invited to introduce their latest industrial policies, industrial ecology and development.

Specialized events for new energy vehicles, biology, and SMEs will be held during the Summit.
