(ECNS) -- China on Monday prosecuted 39 members of major criminal groups based in northern Myanmar for telecom fraud and other crimes targeting its civilians.
According to the Wenzhou People's Procuratorate in Zhejiang Province, the suspects, including Mg Myin Shaunt Phyin and Ma Thiri Maung, face charges of fraud, intentional homicide, intentional injury, illegal detention, operating casinos, drug trafficking, and organizing prostitution.
The public security department in Wenzhou publicly issued a wanted circular with a reward involving four gang leaders on Nov. 12.
