(Ecns)--Driven by a deep-rooted Cold War mentality, the U.S. has resorted to abusing state power in excluding China from key supply chains and restricting China's ability to climb up the value chain -- which seriously hinders normal and healthy economic and trade exchanges.
This type of behavior seriously violates the laws of market economy and the principle of fair competition, disrupts international economic and trade order, destabilizes global industrial and supply chains, and will eventually harm the interests of all countries.
In today's globalized semiconductor industry, the U.S. is building "high walls" to isolate itself. The U.S.'s "fortress" policy seems to be protecting its own technological advantages, but in reality, it is closing itself off, cutting off the opportunity for shared success and mutual benefits with the global tech community. This will only push the U.S. closer to the edge of a precipice.
