US rapper Pitbull's last show in Beijing two years ago was a huge hit with fans and now the hip hop artist is set to return.

The recording sensation will come to China as part of his 2015 world tour with live shows in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and will perform his chart-topping hits such as I Know You Want Me and Don't Stop the Party.

He will also perform We Are One for the first time in China. We Are One was the official song of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Pitbull performed it at the opening ceremony of the soccer competition with Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Lettie in Brazil.

Growing up in Miami, a place with a thriving electronic music scene, Pitbull, 34, who is of Cuban descent, takes musical inspiration from salsa, merengue and a wide range of Cuban, Colombian and Caribbean sounds. Pitbull's career began in 2002, when he performed with US rapper Lil Jon. The following year, his song,

Oye, was used in the film 2 Fast 2 Furious.

His first single Give Me Everything, topped the Billboard Hot 100 and featured American R&B singers, Ne-Yo and Nayer and Dutch DJ Afrojack.

Pitbull has worked with many international stars on songs, including Get It Started featuring Colombian pop star Shakira and Feel This Moment, performing with Christina Aguilera. His latest collaboration was Timber, with United States singer KeSha, released in October 2013 as the lead single from Pitbull's EP Meltdown. He also teamed up with Ricky Martin for a new single, Mr Put It Down, which is from Martin's upcoming new album.
