The 11th National Calligraphy and Seal Carving, now at the National Art Museum of China, traces the aesthetic transformation of Chinese calligraphy over the decade.
The organizer China Calligraphers Association is displaying hundreds of calligraphic scrolls that offer a glimpse into how calligraphers have been exploring with the traditional art forms. Some re-interpret classical calligraphic works while others experiment to refresh the look of calligraphy and seal carving art.
The exhibition runs through Aug 17.
