In the early winter, thousands of horses gallop around the Shandan Military Horse Farm, which is located in the middle of Hexi Corridor, Northwest China's Gansu Province. The farm ? one of the oldest and largest horse farms in the world - covers a total area of about 2,200 square kilometers and can be traced back to the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24).
