A police dog was trained Tuesday in a number of skills to aid police operations.
The training was carried out in Xinzhou city, North China's Shanxi Province.
The dog, named Xinqing or The Mood, has gained a number of skills, including passing obstacles, identifying objects, seeking out explosives and rescuing hostages.
In addition to basic commands like sit-down, lie-down and stop, qualified police dogs need to pass other training sessions such as searching explosives in luggage.
