The largest lantern show ever held in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region will open to the public next week to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, which will fall on Sept. 13.
The show will run from Sept. 6 to Oct. 20.

Located in the Qingxiu Mountain scenic spot in Nanning, capital city of Guangxi, the lantern show covers an area of around 333,333 square meters and the total tour route is 2.76 kilometers, setting a record in the region in terms of its scale, number of lanterns and applied high-tech.
