The Earth System Science Numerical Simulator Facility, China's first large-scale scientific facility for numerical simulation of the Earth system, was put into use in Huairou Science City on Wednesday. It allows Chinese scientists to "bring the Earth into the laboratory and to conduct simulation experiments", so as to better understand and predict the future of the Earth.
