Designed by the CCDI, a firm that structured the National Aquatics Center in Beijing, the outlook of this exhibition hall is similar to a traditional Chinese red lantern. The round outside and square building in the middle reflect ancient Chinese philosophy of nature. "Lantern" also connotes best wishes for a bright future. A total of 15, 734 relics, including 143 rare ones, are displayed in the hall, which covers 15,000 square meters.
