The Chinese team composed of Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu defeated the Japanese team 3-0 and won the gold medal in table tennis women's team. This is the third gold medal won by the Chinese ping-pong team and the 34th gold for China at the Tokyo Olympics.
