The city of Putian has expanded the scope of nucleic acid testing following new cases of COVID-19. A total of 196,758 samples have been collected from Friday to 4 pm Sunday, of which 121,087 samples returned results. As of 4 pm Sunday, Putian had reported 32 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 32 asymptomatic cases, according to local authorities.
