The exhibition, running from Oct.8 to Oct. 17, was jointly hosted by the HKSAR government, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR and Xinhua News Agency, showcasing the unfading blood ties between Hong Kong and the motherland over the past 100 years, as well as the great achievements of China.

Lam invited all Hong Kong citizens to better understand the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the unfading blood ties between Hong Kong and the motherland through the photos and strengthen their sense of national identity and national pride.

The over 200 photos picked from China Photo Archives showed the great achievements of China over the past 100 years, to promote patriotism among Hong Kong citizens (especially Hong Kong teenagers).
