Third-generation hybrid rice yield reaches record high(1/5)

The third-generation hybrid rice developed by Yuan Longping, the "father of hybrid rice," and his team, set a new yield record.

The yield of this double-cropping rice planted in Hengnan County reached 1,603.9 kg per mu (about 667 square meters).
