The cultural relics protection and restoration hall of Sanxingdui Museum opened to the public on Saturday.
Covering an area of about 1,000 square meters, the hall creates an integrated working platform for the protection, restoration and display of unearthed cultural relics from Sanxingdui Ruins site.
Located in the city of Guanghan, the Sanxingdui Ruins cover an area of 12 square kilometers. It is believed to be the remnants of the Shu Kingdom, dating back some 4,500 to 3,000 years.
