Shanxi Archaeology Institute announced the discovery of a thousand-Buddha cliff carved during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and relics of grottoes in Huozhou on Wednesday, which provides important clues for studying the style and evolution of the statues from the middle to late Tang Dynasty.
