China launched ZY-1 02E into planned orbit at 11:11 a.m. (BJT) on Sunday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province.
Along with another resource satellite ZY-1 02D sent into orbit on Sept 12, 2019, it will provide services for disaster reduction, environmental protection, housing development, transportation and agriculture.
It was the 403rd flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
