Zhangjiakou, the co-host city of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, is located in the northwestern part of Hebei Province.
Zhangjiakou now boasts nine ski resorts with 177 ski runs of different levels totaling 164 kilometers in length.

The National Cross-Country Center in Zhangjiakou will witness 12 gold medal events in cross-country skiing.
The Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou will host 20 events related to freestyle skiing and snowboarding, and eight snowboard obstacle and slope rotation events.
"Dashuhua", which has a history of 500 years, has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage in Hebei Province.
Qingshaqi, or green clay utensils, have a history of more than 300 years. The making of the Qingshaqi has become a provincial intangible cultural heritage.
