Gao Tingyu won the men's 500m speed skating gold at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics with an impressive Olympic record of 34.32 seconds, becoming China's first ever male Olympic gold medalist in speed skating.
The 24-year-old Chinese speed skater also served as one of the flag bearers for Team China at the opening ceremony of Beijing 2022.
