FISU Vice President Shen Zhen handed over the flame lit up in Turin, the host of the first FISU World University Games, to Chengdu, the host of the 31st Games that will take place from Jun. 26 to Jul.7, 2022.
Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, originally scheduled to be held August 2021, were postponed to 2022 due to global COVID-19 situation and international travel restrictions.
