Yangtze River Three Gorges 1 was officially put into service on April 30, 2022. The ship, which is 100 meters long and 16.3 meters wide, can accommodate 1,300 passengers. It is powered purely by electricity provided by battery capacity of 7,500 kilowatt-hours, the equivalent of the total battery capacity of more than 100 electric cars.
