Newly released research shows that the textiles discovered on No. 4 Terracotta Acrobat in Pit "K9901" of the mausoleum are silk. Nearly 30 terracotta figurines were found in the pit. They were likely entertainers who would have amused the imperial court during the Qin Dynasty (221BC-206BC).
