Peiligang Site, located in Xinzheng, Henan Province, covers an area of 50,000 to 60,000 square meters. New accurate dating results show that the Peiligang ruins are 8,200-7,700 years old, lasting about 500 years, and is a long-lived central settlement in the region. The latest excavation found the Paleolithic remains accumulated to a thickness of more than 225 centimeters. It provides important evidence for studies on the origin and development of agriculture, pottery making, the textile industry and alcohol making techniques in ancient times.
