A million-year old human skull fossil, the most complete Homo erectus skull fossil in Eurasian interior so far, was discovered at Xuetang Liangzi site in Shiyan, central China's Hubei Province.
Photo shows the archaeological site of Xuetang Liangzi site in Shiyang, central China's Hubei Province. In 1989 and 1990, two complete skull fossils of ancient humans were unearthed in Yunyang, formerly known as Yunxian county.
