China Life: Chinese climber awarded Champion for Peace(1/4)

Chinese sportsman Han Zijun was awarded the Champion for Peace. She is the 2nd Chinese sportsman to win the title.

She holds the China record for a woman reaching the summit of the world’s highest peak from both the north and south sides.

For Han Zijun, life is an endless high of adventure. There is a human desire to conquer the unknown, she said. It’s not impulsive. It’s an instinct, deep inside the heart.
