Culture Fact: Kunqu Opera(1/1)

The Palace Museum and Shanghai Kunqu Opera Troupe signed a strategic cooperation agreement on March 13 to restage Chinese classic operas.

Kunqu is a 600-year-old Chinese traditional Opera Art form. The art form is a mixture of acting, singing, vocal speeches, acrobatics, dancing, martial arts and other artistic forms; therefore it has gorgeous and tactful arias, elegant lyrics and exquisite acting.
