The Three Gorges reservoir is currently undertaking draw-down of water level, as it is preparing for the upcoming flood season of the Yangtze River. The water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir has dropped to 152.31 meters, adding about 17 billion cubic meters of water to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
