NASA shares cute image of penguin and egg-shaped galaxies (1/2)

NASA releases a photograph of two galaxies, resembling a penguin with its egg, located millions of light-years away from Earth. (Photo/Agencies)

Captured by the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes, the image features Arp 142, which strikingly mimics the appearance of a penguin guarding an egg.

The galaxies are situated 23 million light-years from Earth, a distance ten times greater than that of the Andromeda galaxy.
