Pronounced lài bān zú, it means office dwellers (mostly in the country's first-tier cities), and it refers to those who linger at their offices after official work hours. Some lingerers are required to work overtime, while some choose to evade traffic congestion during peak hours. There are even some people, mainly who live alone, that are not willing to go home and prefer to kill time in the office.

Let's put it into context:

It's 6 pm; everybody finishes working and leaves the office:

Allen: Hey, Carl, are you leaving? We can take the bus together.

Carl: You guys go. I want to stay a bit longer.

Allen: Still got work to do?

Carl: Not really, I just don't know what to do at home.

Allen: Be careful, you are becoming an office dweller (lài bān zú).
