5) Starving to keep fit
Without a doubt, this is not a wise way to keep fit. However, many are still buying into the idea with intention of losing pounds.
Adding to the negative result of a long time of starving, one may feel constant irritabilities over trivial things.
6) Bottled water only
Being affected by the water ads claiming that bottled water comes from deep, pristine pools of spring water or majestic alpine peaks, healthy, active people enlist bottled water as the only option in their daily life. In reality, bottled waters are just water that contains no fluoride, which is actually good for the teeth.
7) Medical nutriments
As increasing number of people are getting more and more superstitious with medical nutriments, including various vitamin pills, which can be seen in almost every house nowadays.
But, such a behavior is a "waste of money," according to a report on BBC News. People taking daily doses of vitamins C and E and beta-carotene are not protecting themselves from cancer, heart problems, strokes, and other potentially fatal disease.
Moreover, excessive intakes of nutrient elements can end in harmful effects. For example, too much vitamin A might poison babies and vitamin C on the other hand could cause discomforts in the stomach. Therefore, it's recommended by doctors that by keeping a healthy diet, one will get enough supplements needed by our bodies.
