(Ecns.cn)--The growing enthusiasm for Western holidays and overseas tours are prompting some adaptations to airfares so they line up with seasonal travel. Most big airlines in China are carrying out preferential policies to woo customers. People on the move, during Christmas and Hanukah season this December till the Spring Festival kicks in at the end of January, are expected to enjoy more flight services for lower airfares.
Though Christmas is still 25 days away, most airlines have already started to offer online and phone booking of flights to the U.S. , Canada and some European countries. For only 5340RMB ($837), a roundtrip air ticket to U.S. is available in the Chinese branch of Korean Air. To compete against their foreign competitors, many domestic airlines have also launched holiday promotions with heavy discounts.
