A freight train carrying 28 Guizhou-made new energy buses departed from the Guiyang Dulaying International Land-Sea Logistics Port in Southwest China's Guizhou province to Vientiane South Station in Laos on Oct 28. It is expected to arrive at its destination in seven days.
The buses are produced by Chery &Wanda Guizhou Bus, a leading enterprise in Guizhou's new energy bus manufacturing industry. With advantages including zero emissions, low noise and smooth operation, the buses will provide strong support for green and intelligent development of public transportation in Laos.
It is reported that Guizhou has carried out a series of favorable policies to support production enterprises in expanding to overseas markets. Its capital city, Guiyang, has exported over 1,700 cars within two years.
The freight train is the first special transport train service since the China-Laos Railway opened in December 2021, providing a more convenient and efficient logistics channel for further cooperation and trade exchanges between Guizhou and Laos.
