(ECNS) -- Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan's acting foreign minister, has praised China's manufacturing and said that Uzbekistan welcomes China's new energy vehicles (NEVs) to enter the Ukrainian market.
Saidov made the remarks on Wednesday while inviting China’s State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang to experience a China-made new energy bus in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan.
Saidov said he is satisfied with China’s new energy buses, which are very smart and comfortable, and eagerly looks forward to expanding innovation and high-tech cooperation between the two countries.
Uzbekistan has bought 2,000 Chinese new energy buses to improve the public transportation in Tashkent and other large cities.
The first batch of 350 buses, with a battery life of more than 300 kilometers, have arrived in Tashkent. All of them are equipped with air conditioners, facilities for the disabled, and sockets for charging.
