China's manufacturing PMI remains flat, non-manufacturing down in June

(ECNS) -- The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector and non-manufacturing sector in June were recorded at 49.5 and 50.5 respectively, according to official data released on Sunday.

The PMI for manufacturing sector remained unchanged from May ,while that fornon-manufacturing sector dropped from 51.1 from last month.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 reflects contraction.
