Global conference on human rights in Chinese Classics calls for second papers

(ECNS) -- The International Conference on Ideas of Human Rights in the Ancient Chinese Classics recently issued the second call for papers from both domestic and foreign participants, aiming to enhance the exploration of related concepts found in ancient Chinese texts.

The conference will explore the ideas, strategies, systems, and history related to human rights in ancient Chinese classics. The papers should be based on careful analysis and interpretation, with a theoretical concern for integrating ancient and modern times and linking China with foreign countries.

According to the announcement issued by Yuelu Academy, Hunan University, papers should be the author’s original work that has not been published and comply with academic standards and ethics with a limit of 10,000 Chinese, or 7,000 English words. The deadline for submission is Sep. 30.

The conference will be jointly hosted by the China Society for Human Rights Studies, Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, and Hunan University, and jointly organized by Yuelu Academy and the Law School, Hunan University at Yuelu Academy, Hunan University, from Nov. 19 to 21.

The event has released an announcement for papers before, which received widespread attention from all sectors of society.
