Fire in SW China's Sichuan injures over 20 people

(ECNS) -- A fire broke out in Wuhou District, Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, on Thursday, causing over 20 injuries, including serious injuries.

At 11: 02 a.m., the 119 Fire Command Center of Chengdu Fire Brigade received a fire alarm that a fire accident occurred at the No. 2 Menhou Street in Wuhou District. It sent firefighters to the spot immediately and put out the fire at 11: 15 a.m. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

All the injured have been sent to hospital.
