Tech Frontier | Global industry leaders gather at CISCE to drive supply chain innovation
(ECNS) -- The second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) opened at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue) in Beijing on Tuesday, bringing together global industrial leaders to advance supply chain innovation and collaboration.
Over 600 global companies are showcasing cutting-edge technologies, products, and services across six specialized exhibition areas, highlighting key areas of the industrial chain.
At the digital technology area, Apple joins with four Chinese suppliers to exhibit flexible production lines, green technology and optical products.
Apple CEO Tim Cook highlighted innovations in the Apple supply chain. While visiting the joint booth, he stressed the importance of China’s supply chain and market for Apple.
YUTO Technology, one of Apple’s suppliers based in Shenzhen, showcases a fully automated packaging production line. A sleek silver robotic arm moves swiftly in all directions, completing the folding of an iPhone packaging box in just 1.9 seconds.
This marks the second consecutive year that Apple has participated in the expo. Data shows that over 80 percent of its top 200 global suppliers have set up factories in China. In the past five years alone, the American tech giant has invested more than $20 billion in advancing smart and green manufacturing in the country.
In addition to exhibiting its Shengxi Superfast Charging Battery, China’s battery giant Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL), also offers an AIGC (Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content) interactive experience in the smart vehicle exhibition area.
Using Apple's Vision Pro headset, visitors can have an immersive experience on a virtual tour of CATL’s “lighthouse factory” in just one second.
Under the theme "Connecting the World for a Shared Future", this year’s expo introduced a new exhibition area dedicated to advanced manufacturing.
Nearly 80 global companies are showcasing their latest digital, networking, and smart technologies through exhibits, live demonstration, and interactive experiences, offering visitors a firsthand look at their advanced applications.
