China's youth unemployment on decrease
China's youths' employment situation has seen improvement last month with their surveyed unemployment rate marking a continuous decrease, according to the latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics.
In November, youths aged from 16 to 24 in urban areas saw their surveyed unemployment rate dropping to 16.1 percent. The number was in a continuous fall from September after reaching a high point of 18.8 percent in August. The number was 17.6 percent and 17.1 percent respectively in September and October, and didn't include students at school.
The unemployment rate of young people aged from 25 to 29 was 6.7 percent last month, roughly the same as that in the previous two months. People aged between 30 to 59 saw their surveyed unemployment rate staying around 3.8 percent in November. These calculations also excluded students on campus.
