Young courier forms band with 66 year old 'grandpa'

(ECNS) -- Lan Xiaodong, born in 1998 in Lishui, is a courier who loves singing since he was a child.

Ye Wei, 66, has retired from his work and is also fond of singing.

The two met when Lan went to Ye's home for a pick-up service.

Lan called Ye "grandpa" and they soon decided to start a band out of their shared love for music.

Lan performs with his grandpa in a local park almost every day after work and they have gained many followers.

Lan bought a car last year and the two went on tour, covering seven counties and cities in Lishui. The young courier also plans to take his "grandpa" to perform in more cities and hopes their music can be heard by more people.
