Chinese giant pandas attract visitors in Qatar's first Panda House

Doha's first ever Panda House, located at Al Khor Park near the Al Bayt Stadium, officially opened to the public and welcomed two Chinese pandas, three-year-old female Si Hai and four-year-old male Jing Jing.

Born in the Wolong Shenshuping panda base under the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the two pandas arrived in Qatar on Oct. 19 before the 2022 FIFA World Cup kicked off and attracted lots of visitors.
