On Wednesday, the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders held a donation ceremony on the newly acquired cultural relics and historical materials offered by a Chinese American, Lu Zhaoning.

The 98 sets of cultural relics and historical materials included soldiers' logs and the original copy of the New York Times, which described the situation after the Japanese occupied Nanjing in 1937.

Among the historical relics donated this time, one is a soldier's log, which detailed the owner's experience from his conscription on Jan. 10, 1937, to his discharge on Jan. 9, 1941, including his experience in the occupation of Shanghai, Nanjing, and other places.
