Exercise of Chinese aircraft carrier is part of annual schedule: defense spokesperson

The Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy recently organized the Liaoning aircraft carrier group to conduct routine exercises in waters in the South China Sea.

It is part of　the annual training schedule, with the goal of enhancing combat capabilities, Wu Qian, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, said on Tuesday.
